The Official known as 17th international Indian Film Academy IIfa 2016 awards ceremony was held in Madrid, Spain. There were lots of great performances by Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff and many others. The four gala days were celebrated on the huge Spanish stage with the magic of Indian Cinema’s stars.
Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar arrived on a donkey to the event as they were going to host the evening for the third time at IIFA awards. They ditched the luxury cars for a Spanish Donkeys. During opening of the event only the duo reprised the audience by their Pappu and Raju avatars. They touched upon the film-makers who were seated on the front row and talked about all the controversies that were happen last year. Adding to this shahid said the biggest controversy last year was that He got married, and the couple already expecting their first child. Joking about Mira’s pregnancy shahid said the biggest tehelka is main baap banne wala hoon. The list of stars who made the night rocking with their performances were Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and many others.
The annual awards that were held in Madrid, Spain saw Shilpa Shetty conducting the yoga class as a Bollywood beauty and displayed her glory all around her figure, when interviewed by ANI the actress told that she was happy that IIFA have joined hands with Mula fest. Later she added that she was doing yoga since many years and proved to be the most life changing for her.
Coming to the Awards Ranveer Singh have won the best actor award for the great Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao and have thanked audience and her rumoured Girlfriend hot and sizzling actress Deepika Padukone with an acceptance speech. Want to know what he said in speech, here you go:

“There’s another special person I must thank. I was moved by her performance on Bajirao songs during the show. She is the Leela to my Ram, Mastani to my Bajirao and I don’t know what’s next. Girl, you are so fine. Nothing makes me happier than you... I mean winning an award here with you,” the actor said.

Cute Dimpled Star Deepika Padukone won the award for the best actress in piku. The actress wants to dedicate the award to the film writer Juhi Chaturvedi and to all who have worked behind the scenes. Also she added one line which was dedicated to special someone by saying in her speech as she wants to thank her team and that special person who knows who you are.

Also the award night was of Bajirao Mastani when Priyanka was also awarded for the best supporting actress award. She thanked Tanvi Azmi who is the national award winner of the year and she said that she is overwhelmed and want to thank Top Hottest Asian Actrees Deepika, Ranveer and Sanjay Sir. Priyanka is now quite regular at international award shows, with her blooming Hollywood career well on its way. Woman of the Year at IIFA 2016 was won by Priyanka, who has scaled international presence with her role in American TV series Quantico
Deepak Dobriyal won the best performance in a comic role for Tanu Weds Manu Returns and the best performance in a negative honour was bagged by Darshan Kumar for his act in NH 10.Raman Raghav 2.0 star Vicky Kaushal bagged the best debut actor (male) for his endearing act in Masaan, while Bhumi Pednekar took home the best debut actor (female) for Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
The best Jodi of the year went to Hero stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. They thanked their mentor Salman for giving them a break in the Industry. Athiya wore the powder blue jumpsuit by Rayane Bacha to the green carpet with a lace embroidered bodice and cape styled with nude strappy heels. A clutch by Judith Leiber, hair with a soft curls and berry lips make a complete look.
The Spanish stage also saw a performance by Salman Khan, along with the Bajirao Mastani cast Ranveer, Million Dollar Smile Actress Deepika and Priyanka. In this picture here, Salman seems to be teaching some moves to the actors on stage. Deepika looked stunning in the red and golden lehenga, designed by Sabyasachi. This year at IIFA, Deepika have done a fabulous job of devising some distinctive looks, which she has carried through with perfection. Whereas Quantico star Priyanka Chopra nailed it in this beautiful Schiaparelli Couture gown. Actress Neha Dhupia, who is usually bang on with her style quotient and even started off IIFA 2016 with a gorgeous retro look, somehow managed to miss the mark over a series of outfits. This white H&M gown looked like a cross between a nun's uniform and matron's outfit and that front bouffant hairdo didn't help at all.
