The Bajirao Mastaniactress rejected the action drama as she didn't have much work for her to do in sultan film. She  have a moderately Hollywood project which is to role starting out sometime in February,  "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi and Scarlett Wilson of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" are two other names been attached to "Sultan". 

The movie is currently supposedly stuck in production yet at a time she signed Bajirao Mastani. Deepika Padukone said, “I’d love to do both films. Karan has my number, if he wants me, he’ll call. I can’t talk about a film before the producer has announced it. So it’s only fair that i wait for the call. However, due to personal commitments and date issues, Deepika chose Bajirao Mastani over Shhuddhi. In shuddhi Kareena Kapoor has finalized as a lead actress. 

Bollywood diva said ‘’NO’’ to jab tak hai jaan because after reading the script she thought there is no such work to do in film by signing the film might her career fails, so she didn't signed the film and the role of movie was given to katrina kaif. While Jab Tak Hai Jaan was a non-extreme success, Katrina didn’t get any praise for her role.

After being admired for body starring in the 2013 blockbuster film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Deepika fed up with the haters whom she don't want to talk first who were hating her and break up their relationship now she got fed up by Ranbir Kapoor who had left Deepika so she declined the ‘’Roy” film and then Jacqueline Fernandez grabbed the role after Deepika turned it down.

The lady queen of Bollywood rejected fast and furious film because of her schedule clash with already in production, Ram-Leela which was highly up approximately above 100 crores expectation. So she can’t decline to the film and join to Hollywood. She was quite upset because she failed a chance because of her busy schedule.

It is not easy to say no when its Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan but Deepika had the courage to turn down such a big film. Instead she opted for ‘Bajirao Mastani' because she was giving her best hard work to film Bajirao Mastani with her beau Ranveer Singh and fashionista Sonam Kapoor had join the film.
