    Game of Thrones is an American television drama created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.  There are 6 Season of Games of thrones and the series is premiered on HBO in the United States. Recently the released sixth season concluded on June 26, 2016. Later the series was renewed for the seventh season and would go in air by 2017 in total of 7 episodes. All the series of the Games of thrones are based on fictional continents of Westeros and Essos. The series have millions of Fans followers and viewers on HBO. In general the series have won 26 Primetime awards and have broken records by winning 26 awards in single year 2015.

The series have the kind of violent dynastic struggles among the noble families for the iron throne.     The first season of Game of thrones was released on HBO on April 17, 2011. There were 10 episodes and concluded on June 19, 2011 airing on Sunday at 9:00 PM. The length of each episode is 55 minutes. The story will definitely take you to the frictional world. The story begins with Ned Stark (Sean Bean) who is asked to be a chief advisor to the lecherous King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy). Ned and his wife Catelyn receives a letter from her sister and given them reason to believe that the rival house Lannister to which the King's wife Cersei belongs was the cause of the previous Hand's death. The season has the budget of $60 million.  On 2 September, 2012 the season 1 won the Hugo Award for the best dramatic presentation.

    The second season of Games of thrones series consist of 10 episodes. The series began filming on 25th July, 2011 and wrapped on 12th December, 2011. This Season 2 has 15% higher budget than season 1 with $69 million. The second series is mostly based on A Clash of kings, the second book in A song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. martin. Filming of Season 2 again took place in Northern Ireland, on location and at the Paint Hall studio facility in Belfast. The production considered filming in Spain but ultimately preferred Croatia for budgetary reasons.

    7. Oona Chaplin is the granddaughter of Charlie Chapin who played the role of Rob stark’s late wife. In season 1, Daenerys eats a horse heart as part of a Dothraki ritual. It was actually a three-pound gelatin substance.
    8. The Dothraki language is an entirely fictional language created for the show. The language is comprised of more than 3,000 words and was created by a linguist named David Peterson.
    9. Sophie Turner, AKA Sansa Stark, adopted the dog that plays her dire wolf and named her as Zunni.
    10. More than 150 babies were named after Khaleesi in 2012 and Arya is the fastest growing baby name in the United States.
    11. Gwendoline Christie the actress who plays Brienne does not know her birthday. Peter Dinklage is purely vegetarian and all the meat scenes eating are not in real.
