Housefull Movie Review, Rating and Story

In the film Houseful, there are four main characters in the film, Akshay Kumar as Arush, Deepika Padukone as sandy and Lara Dutta as Hetal and Ritesh Deshmukh as BOB. The story tells about Arush who is unlucky person and finding his luck by searching true love. Arush’s friends BOB and Hetal find a girl Devika at London. Hetal and Bob eventually asked to their Boss Kishore Samtani (Randhir Kapoor) about Arush finding a girl, and then they suggested Akshay Kumar for Devika. Boss has talked to Arush and asked his family background and occupation because he is searching a right and perfect man for his daughter Devika. He told to Arush “you are the perfect man for my daughter” and asked him would he marry his daughter.

Arush accepted the proposal and they both got married. But Devika (Jiah khan) dumps Arush and goes with his American boyfriend (Benny). Akshay Kumar becomes sad, frustrated and decided to attempt suicide.  But Sandy (Deepika Padukone) saved Arush life. Arush and Sandy became friends and slowly friendship turns into relationship. Meanwhile Hetal lies to her father (Batuk bhai) that BoB owns a tenement and has a child. After hearing Hetal, her father happily comes at Hetal’s home to play with her child. The story gets more complicated but Hetal, BOB, Akshay Kumar and sandy have handled the situation.  But on the other side Deepika Padukone is in love with Arush but to get married with sandy is not so easy as Arush has to convince Sandy’s brother Krishna (Arjun Rampal)  who is a military officer and hate liars. He loves sandy too much and takes good care of her. So sandy talked to her brother about Arush, who is very strict by nature and don’t trust anyone just by listening. So brother Krishna (Arjun Rampal) decided to test lie detector process on Arush. After test, he will decide about sister sandy marriage with Arush. It was a fun to see Arush to give live test detector and passes easily. 1. In the film Arush seen with a Tiger sitting on a Sofa in the Living room is quite similar to the one of the Hit comedy “Hangover” (2009).

10. When Devika meets her American boyfriend benny on her honeymoon night, whom he starts loving at once, is borrowed from “The Heartbreak Kid” (2007).
11. Akshay Kumar’s scene with monkey where they are hitting each other in a funny way is inspired from a similar sequence in “Night at the Museum” (2006).
12. The lie detector machine where Arjun Rampal tries to find the truth behind Akshay’s love is borrowed from film “Meet the Parents” (2000)
13. Hit comedy film “All the Best” also had a similar kind of story same like Housefull
