Amitabh Bachchan is the first Bollywood actor to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum in 2000.  Not just in India, but all through Asia, Big B is the first film star to have been immortalized in wax. His statues are in London, New York and Hong Kong. Big B’s wax statue is reportedly watched by 25 lakh visitors to the museum every year.

Dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene joined the Bollywood bandwagon by unveiling her wax statue at Madame Tussauds Museum in London. The star with the heartwarming smile had unveiled her statue in 2012 with her husband, Dr Sriram Nene and sons Arin and Ryan. Madhuri also donated the exquisite saree that her wax-figure adorns.

The actress unveiled the carefully sculpted wax statue in March 2015. The official Madame Tussauds Twitter handle had earlier tweeted, Katrina has collaborated closely with our sculptors and artists to decide a dancing pose and outfit for the figure, having given a sitting in Mumbai where all the measurements required to create an accurate likeness were gathered.
